Most of the sales in Cambridgeshire over the past year 2021 – 2022 were detached properties which on average sold for £511,173. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £330,564 and terraced properties averaged at £307,840.
Cambridgeshire, with an overall average price of £373,488, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bedfordshire (£365,645), but was more expensive than Norfolk (£318,351) and cheaper than Hertfordshire (£556,154). The most expensive area within Cambridgeshire was Elton (£1,400,000) and the cheapest was Wittering (£186,375).
In the past year house prices in Cambridgeshire were 7% up on the year before and 12% up on 2020 when they averaged at £332,389.
